Academy of Management TIM Division The major topics of interest of the Technology and Innovation Management Division of the Academy of Management include: studies of the innovation process (innovation diffusion and the development, implementation, and use of technological innovations such as office automation); organizational processes by which technically oriented activities are integrated into organizations; behavior and characteristics of scientists, engineers, and other technical professionals; technological forecasting; the flow of technical knowledge; organization and management of research and development projects and the behavior of project teams; and studies of scientific and engineering-based organizations, industrial R&D laboratories and research units in other organizations.

International Committee for the History of Technology (ICOHTEC) This institute was founded as the Cold War was being waged with particular bitterness between the nations of the Eastern and Western Worlds. National Science & Technology Week This year's focus is designed to help children explore and understand the myriad ways we communicate with one another. The NSTW Online site provides teachers, parents, and youth leaders with hands-on teaching activities that coincide with this year's theme (as well as those for the past two years). The goal of the project is to teach children how to observe real-world phenomena, analyze variables, draw conclusions, and evaluate findings.
