Feminist Theology "Welcome to the internet project Hulda - Feminist Theology! Hulda is a private project of Rebecca Unsoeld. Hulda was a female prophet. You can read her story in II. Kings 22,14-20. When the central chapters of the book Deuteronomy were presented to the king and the high priest for the first time the king and priests went to find Hulda.  They asked Hulda to find out if the content of the scrolls presents the will of God. Hulda had the authority to answer the request of these mighty men: Her positive answer found respect and started a reformation of enormous weight within the young Jewish community before the Babylonian exile."

Feminist Publications and Research "The name Feminist Majority is a consciousness-raiser, inspired by a Newsweek/Gallup public opinion poll that showed the majority of women (56%) in the United States self-identified as feminists. Most polls since then reveal that this majority continues with over two-thirds of young women self-identifying as feminists. Most men, especially young men, view themselves as supporters of the women's rights movement."

History of the Suffrage Movement A chronology of events leading to women's right to vote and a bibliography of suffrage movement. "1995 marks the 75th anniversary of the passage of the 19th amendment to the Constitution, giving women the right to vote. A resolution calling for woman suffrage was passed, after much debate, at the Seneca Falls Convention in 1848. The Convention was convened by Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Mott who demanded a wide range of changes. These changes were spelled out in The Declaration of Sentiments a document based upon the Declaration of Independence. 'What are we next to do?' asked Elizabeth Cady Stanton after the 1848 convention. The women of Seneca Falls had challenged America to social revolution with a list of demands that touched every aspect of life."
