Australian Computer Emergency Response Team AusCERT provides a single, trusted point of contact in Australia for the Internet community to deal with computer security incidents and their prevention. AusCERT's aims are to reduce the probability of successful attack, to reduce the direct costs of security to organizations and lower the risk of consequential damage. 
CERT Coordination Center The CERT Coordination Center studies Internet security vulnerabilities, provides incident response services to sites that have been the victims of attack, publishes a variety of security alerts, researches security and survivability in wide-area-networked computing, and develops information to help you improve security at your site. 
CIAC Security Web Site CIAC is the U.S. Department of Energy's Computer Incident Advisory Capability. Established in 1989, CIAC provides computer security services to employees and contractors of the United States Department of Energy. CIAC is an element of the Computer Security Technology Center (CSTC) and is located at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory. 
COAST Computer Operations, Audit, and Security Technology -- is a multiple project, multiple investigator laboratory in computer security research in the Computer Sciences Department at Purdue University. It functions with close ties to researchers and engineers in major companies and government agencies. We focus our research on real-world needs and limitations, with a special focus on security for legacy computing systems.

Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section (CCIPS)  This site is a government site devoted to computer crime.  It contains information on fraud and abuse, searching and seizing computers, protecting intellectual property rights, encryption and computer crime, international aspects of computer crime, law enforcement coordination for high-tech crimes, privacy issues in the high-tech context, and speech issues in the high-tech context.   This is an authoritative site and contains good links to other computer crime sites.  A good jump point for computer crime research. 
Computer Crime Publications This site contains many good links regarding computer crimes.   It contains a lot of legal references, such as the Journal of Online Law.
Computer Security Institute Established in 1974, the Computer Security Institute is the oldest international membership organization offering training specifically targeted to information security professionals. The Institute's primary purpose is to provide education on practical, cost-effective ways to protect an organization's information assets.
Computer Security Technology Center, The This is the home site of the CSTC.   The CSTC provides solutions to U.S. Government agencies facing today's security challenges in information technology.  The agency specializes in malicious code detection and eradication, network policies, risk management, internet and intranet security and mechanisms of intrusion. 
Controlling Computer Crime, Incompetence and Carelessness This site addresses many techniques of computer crimes in the business place and discusses various types of computer fraud that every manager should be aware of, such as laundering, lapping, kiting, and union dime embezzlement.   It also discusses the legal limitations of fighting computer crime.  It is a very interesting web site because it gives real life examples of how some people utilized computers to embezzle millions of dollars.
ECONOMIC IMPLICATIONS OF INFORMATION SYSTEMS SECURITY FAILURES  As the title suggests, this page give a report on the economic implications of information systems security failures.  The paper suggests that the costs of securing our systems is high, but the costs of not securing our systems are even higher.

FIRST The Forum of Incident Response and Security Teams (FIRST), brings together a variety of computer security incident response teams from government, commercial, and academic organizations. It is a a coalition to exchange information and coordinate response activities about computer security incidents.
General Computer Crime Information This site provides a lot of general computer crime information including legal references and preventative measures.   It also contains links to news articles related to computer crimes.   It is a good site to keep abreast of the latest news regarding computer crimes.
High Technology Crime Investigation Association This is the homepage of the High Technology Crime Investigation Association.   It provides a network of individuals and professionals concerned about computer crime.    The association promotes seminars and training conferences for information technology professionals. 
Information Infrastructure Task Force This site is a government site devoted to the Information Infrastructure Task Force formed by the White House.   It is provides activity information and agendas of the IITF, speeches, documents, press releases, and other relevant relevant information concerning the IITF. This is the internet's "premier" site on information warfare.   Information about espionage, hacking, terrorism, etc. can be found here.  This site is interesting because it contains information about how the military uses information warfare.
Institute for Advanced Study of Info War The purpose of the IASIW ( a virtual nongovernmental organization) is to facilitate an understanding of information warfare with reference to both military and civilian life.
Legal issues of the Internet and World Wide Web - Computer Crime This site talks about computer crime and how it affects the World Wide Web.  It also discusses recent criminal law provisions regarding computer crimes.
